Brimar 12AX7 / CV4035 Flying Lead

A very rare military flying lead box plate type of 12AX7 or ECC83 with the leads trimmed and soldered to a fibre vibration absorbing wafer base around the point where the pins meet the glass, to allow the tube to be plugged into a conventional 9 pin socket. These superb military tubes were expertly soldered into pins and the wafer base by the noted audio expert Bob Hovland, ex of Hovland Audio and Capacitors. Brimar UK made in 1969 for the British military, these are among some of the most difficult to find 12AX7/ECC83 tubes, especially modified to be plug and play! Identical to the industrial type 6057 and a superb low noise 12AX7, which ranks up with the Mullard 10M series ECC83 which cost several times more. It will fit any socket that requires a 12AX7, ECC83, 7025 or 5751.
