I bought this Simaudio MiND 2 from an authorized dealer just a year ago, and used it for about 8 months.  I bought a new DAC a few months back that has Roon Ready Ethernet built in, and no longer have a need for the MiND 2 as a streaming server.  With its pristine condition and only 8 months of use, I am listing it as an honest "Mint" condition item.

Before my DAC upgrade I used the MiND 2 to be the streaming front end to a couple of my older DAC's which did not have "Roon Ready" Ethernet inputs.  I tried a few of the top high end USB cables and everything else I could think of to get Mac Mini to sound as good over USB as my other digital sources directly into my DAC's.  I even sent off my Schiit Yggdrasil to get the Gen V USB upgrade, and there was still a large performance difference between USB and other digital inputs on the same DAC's.  With the MiND 2, I was able to Connect my Mac Mini via Ethernet as a Roon Endpoint, and then use AES, Coax, and optical connections to my DAC's.  This made for a night and day difference.  In this setup with the MiND 2 in place, my Mac Mini now sounded as good as any other digital source I have owned.  Compared to direct USB, the noise floor dropped noticeably, the soundstage opened up wide, and my high res files gave me the "goose bump" feel on live music.  After realizing the sound quality can can come from Roon or JRiver streaming, I decided to buy a new Ethernet DAC and no longer need this MiND 2.  If you are looking for ways to add network streaming to an older DAC, or allow it to be a Roon Endpoint, this is a perfect option.

Also, Simaudio's latest generation of MiND streaming software has become one of the better streaming controllers with a very nice interface.  With the MiND App you can stream Tidal, Qobuz, and any of your files stored on UPNP devices.  As a streaming server, the MiND 2 gives all the same sonic benefits of the Roon setup I used, but without the added costs of Roon software or a computer.  Also, the MiND 2 software and streamer worked great on all of my DSD/DSF files, which I found were not supported on a lot of network streaming systems.
