As for the sound it is a remarkable all in one player capable of not only playing CD but also HDCD and 2 /multi channel SACD .If you are looking to by your last players and want a high end player at an affordable price look no further than this baby. WE heard the $8000 pro version and didn't hear the difference. This bad boy has sledge hammer bass output .It does not sugar coat anything but it is truly an amazing player. Positive feedback reviews Dave Clark posted a review online you can read but his recommendation was clear.He sent a check and bought the damn thing ,So what should you do at $2500 including everything ???
