This listing is for a vintage Tandberg 3008A stereo preamplifier. This item has been tested and is in 100% operational condition. Both channels are clean and clear with no hum, buzz, noise, or distortion. All the potentiometers and switches are smooth and quiet all LED initiators are also working.

The 3008 is the much improved version of the 3002 chassis. Tandberg took it to the next level incorporating new circuit design, discrete specification, and higher quality electronic components. Audio Magazine tested this in the January 1986 issue (along with a pair of 3009 A mono amps) and declared it was one of the finest pieces of gear to come across their bench at the time. 

Cosmetic condition is stellar perhaps the nicest Tandberg piece I have had come through here in the last 20 years. No dents, no dings, no nicotine contamination, all graphics intact, no purple fading (which is common on the black anodized units). This is just a stunning example of the classic 3008 you would not be disappointed.
