I am the original owner purchased new in Jan 2014. These are a factory matched pair of 7es3 35th Anniversary Edition Cherry.
These speakers sound beautiful, that Harbeth musicality, touch of warmth but plenty of detail!
Selling since I decided to go with floor standers for a 400+ sq foot dedicated audio room. These were the best bookshelves Ive ever had, no doubt! (Please note the sound anchors pictured are being sold separately in a different ad.)
I am rating condition a conservative 8/10 due to one grill having several frays/one very tiny hole (see pics)- minor. The other grill looks good. I always played with the grills on. There is also one very tiny mark on top of one speaker (its minor-see pic).
Also I noticed another ad recently that stated “irregularities” in the Harbeth cherry veneer. Mine have this too, but not sure if it’s an irregularity per se. Alan Shaw didn't really give much of an answer when I questioned a while back. Also, I never polished or applied any kind of oil to the veneer. Left natural, only a light dusting when needed. Also, always stored in a climate controlled/smoke free room. I’d call the veneer effect aging/ or marbling. Please ask if any questions or need more pics. Thanks for looking.
Note :the calculator is giving a shipping fee for only one item of the pair. Thus actual costs will be calculated for both speakers.
No Paypal fees for buyer! I cover this.
