This is for an exceptional Marantz SA7s1 in excellent condition with very low hours. I’ll bet the nicest one you’ll find! One of Marantz’s best with 50 lbs. construction and sound to match. I purchased this from a high end store just a few months ago. I played maybe 12 CD’s through it. This was the stores floor-model used for an occasional demo. It is mint all around with an exceptionally clean front face plate. I could only find a few tiny little nic’s on the center top plate, see pics, which is hardly noticeable. Original Remote and manual included and in mint condition. Also included is the original box and packaging and the original, secondary outer box! Why am I selling? I just purchase an SA-10. Although the SA-10 has the newer conversion system which sounds a little better, the SA7 is close and has better build quality then the SA10. I was rather surprised upon unpacking the SA10 to see cheap PLASTIC XLR CONNECTORS, cheap stamped digital coax inputs / outputs and even the unbalanced RCA outputs are not true machines jacks - they too are part-plastic. Even most of the front panel buttons are plastic. The stand-out large gold feet are much nicer too. Very disappointing for a $7000 machine. The construction of the SA7 is superior. Look at the beautiful MACHINED XLR , RCA AND DIGITAL INPUTS on the SA7... still shocked to see the cheaper materials used on this new SA10. Also realize the SA7 weighs about 10 lbs more then the SA10. So Marantz did take short cuts with the SA10 - not so with the SA7. Id love to keep it but just have too many CD players. I’ll keep the 10 for the newer technology / conversion system but the SA7 is the better built machine and wishing the new one had its superior construction. The SA7 is already a classic and sells for thousands more over seas. Feel free to ask any questions.
