This is a pair of Cirrus Blacks made around 2012. They are in tiger maple and natural ply, stained in a beautiful frost stain.
The condition is great; I can see no marks on the speakers, and only a couple on the bases of the stands.
Many know these are extraordinary stand mount speakers, using Audio Technology C-Quenze woofers and RAAL ribbon tweeters. This pair has premium crossovers built into a sub-chamber on the bottom for isolation. They have Jantzen z-cap and V-Cap OIMP and CUTF caps, Jantzen Cross Coil indictors and Dueland resistors. WBT binding posts.
Drivers and crossovers alone are over $2500, and the complex stacked plywood cabinets are non-resonant and handle the back wave well.
All of this makes for a standmount that is on a par with the very best I've heard. Balanced, detailed, transparent and very musical.
The current version is over $8,000.
They will ship in the 4 original very protective boxes, weighing about 200 lbs. total.
