I am the original owner (HIFI Buys ATL) and only reason for selling is new MSB Reference is arriving soon. Unit is less than 2 years old and is like new. This unit does not have headphone pre. Complete as shipped from factory. The sound is fantastic. IMHO very musical and transparent. I have been super pleased with it but wanted to move upstream. Thanks for looking. - Hugh

Out of curiosity, with the Bartok released to the public rather recently (several months ago I believe) can you please help me understand the "less than two years old" comment? Did you buy an early demo release? Are you willing to provide a potential buyer with a serial number?

Does this unit have volume control to drive amps directly?
Is it Roon Ready and a Roon endpoint?

Yes the Dac has volume control. I had an AR Ref 6 and never tried a direct drive. |
| Hugh, I am considering your unit per my previous question; however, the DCS website recommends I obtain the serial number to confirm the model, the age, any remaining warranty status, service history, and the latest applicable software version for the unit(s) in question. Is that something you are willing to do? Thanks!
