Audio Research Reference 75 SE Price Reduced [Expired]

no longer for sale

Previous sale fell through, so I'm relisting.  I have a very nice Audio Research 75 SE for sale.  Just a marvelous amp.  I am the second owner.  This is NOT a factory upgrade, but an original SE version.  I am using it to drive a pair of Rockport Mira's which it does easily.  I have owned this amp only for a few months, via tmraudio here in Colorado.  During my time with it, its sound has improved, telling me that it probably is still breaking in and has very few hours.   I have owned several ARC amps including a couple that I still have.  Honestly I think this is the best sounding one that I have.
It is in mint condition, except for a couple of very small scratches around a screw hole on the lid.  I am a classical and jazz listener and I think that's the sweet spot for this amp.  I have other amps and want to sell this one to fund other projects.
The amp comes with original accessories and manual.    I will pay shipping to a 48 states address if my listed price is met and the "buy it now" option is used.  Lower offers will require the buyer to pay shipping charges  Buyer will pay the paypal fees.  No overseas offers will be considered on this item.
Here's some positive comments on regarding this amplifier from other owners on the Audiogon forums....
In the many years of enjoying this hobby, I've had a lot of amps, both solid state and tube. They've ranged from modified Dynaco amps MKIII's and ST-70's (in the early days) to Van Alstine, to Counterpoint, to Atmosphere and various ARC amps including the Classic 60, a REF-75, and now the REF-75 SE. Nothing so far comes close in my experience to the New ARC SE's.......
The SE version has less grain, is more dynamic, is more three dimensional, and overall, is more organic and pleasurable to listen to. Definitely not a backward move.......
I have the Sasha 2 powered by the ARC Reference 75 SE which is more than adequate. Prior to my purchase I did a fair amount of research, and on two sites it was reported that Wilson used the Ref 75 to voice the Sasha 2 s. ... ...
My dealer had the Sashas setup in the  showroom with the Ref 75 SE for demo purposes and he knows his stuff owning the same store since 1977. He did hook them up with the Ayre mono blocks which also sounded quite good ( a lot more money ), but to my ears I preferred the ARC......
