Edge Electronics NL-12.1 and Signature One Pre-amp Combination

Up for sale is a wonderful combination of the Edge Signature One Preamp and the NL 12.1 Amplifier.

The Signature One Pre-amp sold new for $12,000 is rated 8/10 for age and unknown provenance. I purchased it used from Upscale Audio, so I don't know the entire history of the unit. It looks and functions beautifully, with the exception of the remote control which is erratic at best, but it does “work”. As you can see in the photos, it comes with everything but the original box. It was designed for and sounds best with the NL-12.1, so i have opted to sell them as a pair. 

The preamp has the ability to run on internal batteries, so if you live in an area with "dirty" power, this helps quite a bit. The unit can also recharge the batteries by turning a knob on the faceplate. The replacement batteries are not expensive @40-60 dollars depending on your place of purchase. The NL-12.1 is rated 8/10 for age and unknown # of owners—I don’t know the full provenance. It is cosmetically and functionally excellent. It comes with original manual and aftermarket ( but nothing special ) power cord. It was the first amp to truly "wake up" my Magico V3s—and I tried a lot of high powered amps. . . (not make them louder, just not lifeless at low to moderate volumes). Those spots on the top cover in Pic #2 are flakes of dust, not damage. I had to take @ 40 pics just to get these as the shiny aluminum is very difficult to photograph. Here are the specs:

The Audiogon shipping calculator doesn't take into account insurance, so it is inevitably low. Please confirm with me and fedex/ups to be fully aware of shipping cost.
