For Sale:  one La Rosita Alpha New WiFi network streamer/player

For those who don’t know, La Rosita products are the brain-child of genius Dan Bellity, who owns, designs, produces and operates DB System / La Rosita with his son in Grasse, France.  The unique WiFi technology utilized in all La Rosita streamer products was co-developed in conjunction with Apple engineers in Cupertino, CA, for audio playback.  Thus, all La Rosita streamers are designed, developed and produced to work flawlessly in the Apple eco-system.  With a very stable wireless connection from your Apple device to this streamer, Dan has further increased the sonic performance with his own audio technologies to take La Rosita steamers to a higher level of musical reproduction.  As all reviewers have noted, this unit is quite capable of producing very enjoyable music.

I purchased this unit 3-years ago from a Dealer as a demo unit.  It has served me very well in my primary system, bringing me hours of musical enjoyment.  Although this model was recently discontinued, it did originally sell for $ 2,500 USD in 2015.  The price went up to $ 2,800 after that.  The only reason I am selling is because I was able to make a substantial digital upgrade with a new Streamer and DAC combo.  This unit is in flawless aesthetic and functional condition.  Thus, I will rate it conservatively as an “9” for age only (but it looks and performs like a "10" on the Audiogon scale).  I have the original box, packaging, cotton cover, power cable, and manual.

Questions for the seller
1.Does it need apple airport connection or just share the same wifi connection with the Mac you're using? 2. Did they ever integrate with Qobuz?
Greetings! Music WiFi streaming is via a separate airport type connection, concurrently with your primary WiFi connection. I have never tried, however, if Qobuz can operate from a window browser on you Mac, then it should work fine. Thank you.
