Sumiko BlackBird

Up for sale is this highly rated and well reviewed Sumiko Blackbird High output phono cartridge. I am the original owner and have had it for about 7-8 years. While there is normal wear on the stylus, it plays and sounds fine. The Blackbird cartridges are known to be quiet in the groove and punch above their price point ($1250.00). I would guess that it has about 1000 hours on it, but that’s just an estimate. It’s been installed in both a Pro-Ject Xtension10 and 2Xperience turntables, tracked at 2-2.1 grams ( recommended 1.8-2.2g) with proper azimuth adjustments using the Fozgometer. Albums played on it were always cleaned with an Okki Nokki record cleaning vacuum system. The cantilever (boron) is straight and true. I have the original outer box, but not the wooden storage box. It will be properly secured for shipment though.  Due to age and some stylus wear and body blemishes, this is being sold as-is. I will pay shipping to lower 48.
