RARE Ohm Acoustics Walsh 5 mkII (Piano Black Lacquer)

They are finished in PIANO BLACK LACQUER. The speakers produce uncanny clarity in the mids and highs..and because the base is lined with lead, the low end rolls of powerful and CLEAN.The 360 degree dispersion design produces a HUGE SWEET SPOT. Ohm Acoustics only made 500 pair of these speakers, some were made with walnut and rosewood. I don't know how many were made with the piano black lacquer finish. THE DRIVERS IN BOTH PAIRS WERE UPDATED IN 2005 AT A COST OF $1500.00/pr. I have included that receipt with the pictures. Please note in the pictures on one speaker, there are two very tiny chips (pictured). On the other side of the same speaker, there is a superficial scratch that can be professionally buffed out (pictured). One of the drivers has a small indentation(pictured).Despite the minor  flaws, the finish on the speakers is mirror-like and the sound is in no way affected.The speakers live in a smoke free environment, and are played only once and a while. In the winter, I run 30 per cent humidity at 70 degrees. The result: the drivers don't dry out...and it's a perfect environment for the finish. These speakers weigh about 110 pounds each. As such, the casters make for easy placement. I don't have the original boxes, and I would only ship these with a company that could professionally package them.
The dimensions for the shipping boxes are only a guide.The speakers will be shipped in six boxes: 2 bases, 2 drivers, 2 grills.My experience is that the grills arrive in perfect shape, if not crammed in with the drivers. Thank you for viewing my ad and the accompanying pictures.
