Crazy expensive but possibly the best DAC money can buy that carried an original MSRP of $35,000.
Built in Switzerland utilizing the highest parts quality and technology available.
Capable of accepting 24/192 inputs and upsampling to 24/384.
Also able to take DSD files up to 5.6MHZ and convert to PCM.
This unit is about four years old and was well cared for.
It comes complete like the day it left the factory including all or the original packaging, manuals, remote, cords etc.
A great match for our currently listed Soulution Audio 530 Integrated Amplifier
More from Soulution:
No deletions at the source are mandatory. This holds even more true for the playback of high resolution files as it did for CDs and SACDs anyhow. No amplifier or loudspeaker can ever make good for what has been lost at the source. The quality of the recording and the signal supplier are of fundamental importance in high fidelity.
The 560 D/A-Converter does excell at exactly this task. It captures all digital music data and transports it in the analog domain. No deletions, no additions!
In many areas the 560 D/A-Converter is based on the same proven technical solutions used in the 745 SACD-Player. It also embodies the same principles in its design: top grade digital interfaces for optimal reception of the music data, a super-precise master clock generator to avoid jitter, intelligent digital signal processing with oversampling technology, and analogue output stages of top end preamplifier quality.
As with its Series 7 sibling the 560 D/A-Converter is packed with cutting-edge technology with one objective – the love of music. The parallels include a consistent dual mono design in the output stages and separate power supplies for digital electronics and the analogue stages. The 560 D/A-Converter adds a digital volume control that allows direct connection to a power amplifier.
Audio data is buffered then upsampled to 24Bit/384kHz. We believe precision of interpolation is more important than high clock rates. Our players and D/A converters use an algorithm from the highly regarded Anagram Technologies followed by Burr Brown D/A converters in a digital symmetric configuration. As we consider the PCM conversion technology as superior, the DSD signals get converted before its final D/A conversion.
The 560 D/A-Converter is equipped with soulution’s innovative Zero-Phase-Technology. Smallest timing errors provoked by the analog low pass filter of the D/A converter get eliminated. Every D/A converter requires an analog low pass filter in its output in order to suppress high frequency noise and aliasing signals. The 560’s 3rd order bessel filter, with a cut-off frequency of 120kHz, does show a phase shift of up to 15° in the audio band. Due to the Zero-Phase-Technology the phase error of the analog music signal remains below 1°, 20Hz – 100kHz! The Zero-Phase-Technology brings you even closer to the beauty of the source material! The music gets even more realistic and 3-dimensional with a lot of “air” around instruments and voices. As close to the source as possible! No detail gets lost.
Burr-Brown devices perform D/A conversion only. Their internal upsampling and filter stages are not used. The output currents are converted to voltage and then filtered. With an internal bandwidth of 40 MHz, this current/voltage conversion stage allows best signal-to-noise performance and maximum dynamics in the analogue domain.
The wideband output stage of the 560 D/A-Converter has a bandwidth of 20MHz (-3dB). With such speed of response all musical details are reproduced true to life creating a three-dimensional, spatial sound to bring real listening pleasure.
The 560 D/A-Converter is operated from front-panel buttons and a rotary control. Further functions can be used to optimise and match an entire audio system around different components.

WHO WE ARE:
SkyFi Audio is a small startup business specializing in the purchase, reconditioning, and reselling of select high-end audio equipment. We only buy equipment the we admire and are passionate about. No mid-fi, no gimmicks, no junk.
Each piece of equipment is cosmetically restored and fully tested in our well-equipped lab by an engineer with 30+ years of experience in the HiFi world. If it does not meet or exceed the original manufactures specifications, it will not be sold. We are very selective about the equipment we purchase, focusing on mostly analog, high-build quality, American, and European built units.
Through our sister company which is an authorized dealer for McIntosh, Audio Research, Sonus Faber, ClearAudio, Pro-Ject Audio Systems, and Sony ES, we have access to OEM parts, service, and support. If you’re local and looking for new equipment from the above-mentioned manufacturers, please drop us a line as we can arrange both sales and professional installation in the tri-state area.
We do not accept or review any offers that do not go through the official Audiogon system. We have too many items for sale and it’s nearly impossible to keep track of offers outside of the official system. Please don’t message, email, or text any offers.
We prefer working through PayPal which allows you to use a credit card, bank transfer, and their special financing to spread out payments over six months. We do not charge extra for any PayPal fees if you purchase the item at the asking price. You can also send us a personal check (which will need to clear before shipping), certified check, money order, or bank wire transfer. International clients without access to PayPal should use a bank wire transfer.
If you’re picking up an item, we do not accept PayPal. You must pay in person with a certified check, bank check, or wire transfer. If you make a PayPal payment and are picking up the item, your PayPal payment will be returned.
TRADE IN POLICY:
We accept trade-ins of equal or lesser value under certain conditions. Simply click here to submit your gear for full consideration. We will only consider high-end equipment from mainstream manufacturers such as McIntosh, Mark Levinson, Audio Research, Krell, etc. and will typically pass on displays, projectors, receivers, dated surround processors, and mid-fi equipment of any type. We will offer a fair value for your equipment, but keep in mind we’re running a business and will need to be able to resell the equipment at a profit after investing a great deal of time and resources in testing, certifying, repairing, cleaning, and packaging the incoming equipment. If you’re looking for top dollar, we suggest selling direct on your own.
SELL US YOUR GEAR (Working or Broken):
We’ll also purchase your used or broken gear and arrange pickup if you’re in our local market. Simply click here to submit your gear for full consideration.
SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT:
We are currently operating from our shop inside our dedicated building in Glen Rock, NJ. You’re welcome to make an appointment if there’s a piece of equipment you’d like to see in operation before or after purchase. We have several well-equipped and dedicated listening areas, plus a dedicated listening studio with tons of equipment of all makes and models. We’re not a store, so please don’t make an appointment if you’re just curious as to how a speaker or piece of equipment sounds. In essence - no tire kickers please.
You can call or text 201-879-0000 with any questions or to schedule an appointment. We can also arrange to install, calibrate, and tune your newly purchased gear in your listening room if you’re local to our area. This is super useful when purchasing large speakers or heavy amplifiers. It’s also great for ensuring your new turntable is setup correctly in its final resting place.
