Phase Linear 4000 2-CH Autocorrelation Solid State Stereo PreAmplifier PRE AMP w/ Wood Case
The 4000 Autocorrelation Preamplifier was a collaboration design by Bob Carver and Bill Skinner. It was designed to expand or uncompress the sonics of recorded material. In audio parlance, it is called dynamic headroom. In the midst of all the knobs and toggles was the four channel balance joystick.
This Phase Linear preamp is fully working. All functions were tested and are in working condition. Joy stick works perfectly fine. The interior was carefully cleaned and all pots deoxit.
Front panel is in great shape, no signs of damages. The wood case also in great shape, normal wear & tear.
