Classe Audio DR-6 - Preamplifier

A beloved Classe DR-6, a reference -level preamp in its time, recently received total refresh and upgrade of individual components by Stephen Cianciotta of Avatar Engineering in California(R.I.P), $1450. This unit includes an outboard power supply, upgraded Silver Revelation Audio Lab umbilical Cable($300), original umbilical & power cord, and wonderful integral phono stage fully capable of supporting any LOMC; internally adjustable gain. Original manual, changeable resistors (for Phono gain -adjustment). Sorry, no original packaging, but will be as carefully packaged as it was cared for. One original owner. It can surely hold its own against any current preamp costing many times more than you can own this for. Reasonable offers considered, but lowballs will be politely ignored. DONT MISS OUT!! This rare preamp was designed by legendary engineer and co-founder of Classe Audio, David Reich. It features a separate power supply to make sure the noisy bits are kept separate from the quiet bits, and a full-featured phono section that is both MM (Moving-Magnet) and MC (Moving-Coil) cartridge compatible.

On the back, you'll find super high-quality RCA jacks and balanced input and outputs.

Internally you'll notice the highest quality collection of parts, thoughtfully arranged, and meticulously assembled.

All this results in a fabulous all analog vintage solid-state preamp with a super-low noise floor and excellent dynamics -- effectively presents with a warm and dynamic sound with great imaging.

Stunning preamp, if you can find one don't hesitate to buy it. A true reference preamp, very clean quite sound. I have used this with a whole manner of power amps and it just allows the music to sing and the power amps to do their thing.
