The Apex component couplers represent a significant and highly
cost-effective breakthrough in order to maximise performance of audio
and video components. Whilst their appearance may seem unorthodox, the
Apex component coupler is a simple-to-use addition to system resulting
in a simply astonishing improvement in musicality and accuracy.
Always best used in sets of 3. Completely kills resonances AND RFI noise
in the equipment chassis supported. Especially under Network Streamers,
Media Transports, DACs, Pre and Power amps.



Manufacturer's Description:

The purpose of any coupler is to remove unwanted vibration from the
chassis of your equipment. Most conventional couplers are regular shapes
such as cylinders, cones or cubes. Although easy to produce, these
shapes have an inherently resonant acoustic behaviour. In contrast to
this, the Apex coupler has non-parallel sides and disruptive surfaces
that eliminate these problematic sonic characteristics. We then
incorporate a low acoustic impedance spike which is connected to an
internal disruptive labyrinth to create a support that is a highly
effective acoustic drain.



The tip of the coupler is made from hardened steel making an electrical
contact with the component chassis and is also directly coupled to a
proprietary ‘lossy antenna’. This arrangement drains unwanted RFI from
the component where it is safely dissipated inside the coupler.



With three couplers deployed, the reduction in the chassis noise floor
is considerable. The result is a substantial performance increase with
significant improvements in timing, bass, separation of instruments and
vocals, image placement and transparency.
