California Audio Labs CL-2500 MCA

The is the famed California Audio Labs MCA, 500 w x 5 channels. Can be run in 2,3,4, or 5 channel mode. 2 channel doubles to nearly 1000w at 4 ohms. I have the serial port command codes to make this happen.

1 of the 5 channels has been non-functioning for a couple of years and recently the main power supply went out. I had the main power supply repaired at Approved Audio Service, INC in Litchfield CT around 2014. They are out of parts and no longer repairing them. After talking with Rob Rich a prior Cal Audio dealer, there is no East coast shop with parts. I tried my dealer at Audio Advice in NC, but they could not get it repaired.

I am the second owner, and used it mostly from 2006-2016 and used it to drive Magnepan 3.6s and then 20.1s. One best amps I have owned when run in 2 channel.
It can serve as parts for another unit or use your unit to get this one repaired. Its Outer Condition is a 6 due to a large deep scratch on the back of the right side panel (see pick). The face is in very good used condition as are all the other sides with only some nicks along the top front edge.
I have the original box & crate, manual, Serial Port Controller Codes and its power cord is part of the unit (hard-wired). This unit did not have a remote. You can use any serial port connecting device to change its settings.
