Thorens TD-124

This is a classic Thorens td124. It is all original. There are no scratches on the unit itself. I bought it some years ago from the first owners estate where it had been well taken care of but not used for years. . A dealer went over it, got it working and serviced it. It was my every day turntable for about 3 years and always worked perfectly. Speed is stable but occasionally I would adjust it with the indicator. It came with a junky tonearm which I replaced with the SME 3009 s/2 Improved. I have the box and instructions for the arm. When I mounted it on the base I replaced the mushrooms (supports).The table is shown with a Hana SL cartridge which is not included. However a choice of carts can be added for an additional amount. The serial number is 15861 which I believe places it in 1959.  
As you can see a gorgeous wood base was added as well as a dust cover. I hinged the cover for convenience and I hear no sound degradation when using it. You can easily remove the cover and use it as a lift off. The dust cover has no scratches but has some smudges. Also includes the feet pictured and 3 headshells.  See my feedback on ebay: foxsteph.
