Pioneer PLX-1000

This is a 3 year old (today in fact) Pioneer PLX-1000. I am the original and only owner. This is mostly sold to the dj crowd, but some of us audiophiles have come to appreciate it as well. It is a direct drive turntable with 33.33 and 45 rpm. The speed or pitch adjustment is so easy and immediate and is one of the main reasons that I purchased it. I have 1000's of LP's that are transfers of '78's and are not always the correct speed. This makes it so easy to correct and have the singers and instrumentalists right on pitch. Very important to those with pitch sensitive ears. You will notice from the pictures that an Ortofon SPU Classic N is mounted (and properly aligned). You will also notice the subweight at the back of the tonearm The SPU needs the subweight, the other 2 cartridges do not (the subweight will be included with the purchase of the turntable). The turntable ALONE is $399, with the Ortofon SPU Classic N (with a Shibata stylus) it is $850. I also have pictured an Ortofon 2M Black, that is available packaged with the turntable for $775 OR a Ortofon 2M Mono SE packaged with the turntable for $699. All 3 are mounted in Ortofon head shells and aligned for the PLX-1000. If someone wants the turntable and ALL 3 cartridges with head shells, the price would be $1450 including UPS Ground shipping in the CONUS and PayPal fees. The other prices and any offers would be shipping and fees additional. All items are in excellent condition. The cartridges all have low hours, 250 at maximum.
