A fantastic looking and sounding cd/sacd by Esoteric , a foremost name in sound reproduction. This one is special in that it is the only player Esoteric made with HDMI out, upsampling to 1080P, making playing dvds extremely easy coupled with an incredible DAC for for a truly immersive movie theater experience. Fantastic DAC and cd spinner make sound reproduction exceptional. Esoteric always a favorite of "the Absolute Sound". Works perfectly and is in great cosmetic shape, I haven't found any nicks or scratches, very clean. Double boxed, this player is built like a tank, and weighs in at I think about 50 lbs. Remote is heavy and a delight to use. Upgraded power cord and manual are included. Originally sold for 11,000. and came after the UX3-se(special edition) just below the X-1. This player is an exceptional value and a real treat. I am the second owner I love the player but have decided to downsize and go in another direction... Please add 75 for shipping.
