Sound quality is around 80% of the ESOTAR2 series which are far more expensive and have a different magnet structure.  A BIG JUMP from the esotec series.

Esotar T380d was implemented in their top end previous generation studio monitors. The neodymium magnet structure is ESOTAR, the dome, membrane and precision coating are ESOTAR. Back vent chamber is ESOTEC but Dynaudio classifies these as ESOTAR T-380D. Some light dusting on the domes from factory. They will not affect the sound.

T-380 ESOTAR series tweeters were implemented in the AIR20 and AIR25 Dynaudio Acoustics monitors.  Read the AIR20 / AIR25 spec sheet - they are classified as ESOTAR.
Upgrading from ESOTEC to ESOTAR domes and magnet structure - more detail and extended fast reacting high frequencies. Literally the BARGAIN of all Esotars!

Due to the much higher efficiency of the neodymium magnet, you will need a higher value tweeter resistor if you're upgrading from the D260 / D28 variants.  Price is cheaper than a new old stock set of D260 or D28/2 found on the big auction sites.

There are some light marks on the screws from factory.  Does not affect the sound.
