Xindak Audio XA-6950 100 Watt Class A Integrated.

 Excellent rare 100 watt Class A integrated amp from Xindak. Xindak is a high end Chinese company that is not as well known here as Cayin and others. I’ve had amps from both companies and this is without a doubt one of the most powerful  musical sounding amps I have heard.  Class A into 8 ohms for the first 30 watts, after that class AB for the next 70 watts. Can drive any speaker out there. Because of the large heat sinks the amp doesn’t run as hot as some other solid state amps I’ve owned. Runs warm to the touch, but not hot. Sound is more tube like, but without the hassle of tubes. Balanced and single ended inputs. Please note that there is another Xindak with the same model number that is a hybrid with two tubes in the preamp section. This is not that amp. Uses Sanken Mosfet output transistors. No concerns about parts as they are all readily available. Nothing esoteric as far as parts go. Member since 2002, please see my feedback. Unit is heavy and packed weighs 65 lbs. Sale is for cont. US only. Trust me there is not a more musical, detailed integrated  amp to be found at anywhere near this price. There is nothing currently listed at $2,000 that comes even close to this amp. Unit was in a seldom used third system which I no longer need and is now a backup. I would love to keep it and will probably regret selling it, but my knees can no longer handle moving 56 lbs around. A local sale in the greater Atlanta area is possible, but buyer must be able to carry 56 lbs up a flight of stairs. Rating is very conservative, could easily be a 9.
