Wilson Audio Alexandria X-2 Series 2 - Wilsons Flagship Redesigned - Desert Silver

From Wilson's Earth shaking X-1 Grand SLAMM, was reborn the Series 2 Alexandria.  Not only was the shape refined, but the current technologies developed for all of their other high-end loudspeakers were applied to the flagship X2.  Its was Wilson's statement loudspeaker at the time. 
 
The X-2, Series 2 employed radical new technologies like Aspherical Propagation delay for such precise time alignment, that nothing else came close to the realism of being 'there". (Except being there, or course)

This is a one owner pair and was factory recertified at Wilson a couple of weeks ago giving it the designation as Certified Authentic Preowned / Factory Tested.  They include every component, tool kit, nut and bolt a new pair came with including the speaker jack.  Most parts are still factory wrapped and sealed, and one speaker is still wrapped from the factory polishing.  (We unwrapped and assembled one cabinet for the photos). 
 
The Alexandria X2's will delivery every bit of musical detail and emotion you'd expect from a live performance.  They are capable of reproducing the lifelike experience of a rock concert, but refined enough to give you goosebumps and bring you to tears during a symphony.  You'll get nearly flawless dynamics, range, coherence, and timing, which means a staggering soundstage well beyond the reach of many loudspeakers today, even over 6 figures.

The drivers are indistinguishable from new ones other than being broken in and sounding better.  The grills are clean and free of any blemishes.  The cabinets are near flawless and the only blemishes we were able to find was a couple of small chips the size of the tip of a pencil.  They are located inside of the upper section, which is not seen once assembled.    
    
This pair is finished in Desert Silver metallic gloss.  It's one of the top selling colors since its neutral and blends with nearly every decor'.
