We like the F501 we recently upgraded to the F501SP but if you don't want to spend $4,500, here's a pair that never left our listening space, is in like-new condition (no blemishes whatsoever), you don't have to wait for them to arrive, and you'll save more money than the already bargain-basement price of a new pair.

The F501 is 90dB sensitive, which will work with a wide range of amplifiers. The upper driver is concentric, meaning the tweeter is embedded in the center of the driver, for improved coherence, which is a reflection of the designer's decades-long experience at Tannoy. Also, the 501 has an unreal reach into the lower-bass region (36Hz), compared to any other speaker of similar size. One Demo pair is available until it's gone.

The award-winning Fyne F501 offers a small, compact footprint but is capable of delivering low bass and effortless dynamics. Bringing additional scale and power to the F500 Series’ signature clarity and articulation, the 150mm (6″) proprietary IsoFlareTM driver is accompanied by a matched 150mm (6″) bass driver. The IsoFlareTM driver delivers isotropic energy radiation with point source constant directivity providing outstanding stereo imaging, even off-axis. Ideal for small to medium-sized rooms, the F501 is supplied with a dedicated plinth incorporating our BassTraxTM Tractrix diffuser system, which integrates bass energy uniformly into the room

The luxuriously finished, contemporary styled cabinet is available in a choice of dark oak or black oak real wood veneer and piano gloss black or white. Enhancing its aesthetic appeal, it has a gently curved front and rear baffle which additionally benefits the acoustic performance by reducing coloration effects. The F501 is the perfect choice for a premium Home Theatre or a Hi-Fi application.
