Horning Hybrid Aristotle

These are the owner's (stereo store) personal pair. We've been carping at him for almost 2 years explaining he had to have what we sell.

Finally, he agreed. Being his personal speakers they were extremely well cared for and of course he loved them for their neutrality and sheer resolution. An honest 96dB efficiency.

Finished in a blond Maple to go with any decor. Lovely speakers to look at and naturally, to listen to whether its vinyl or digital.

These are well cared for and  beloved speakers with upgrades that affected the sonics in a positive way and done with the blessing of Tommy Horning. Any minor defect is shown in photos.

Upgrades:

Horning oil suspension tweeters from Tommy Horning. Cross-over upgraded with top of the line Duelund capacitors and special ‘racing cone’ spikes. $2500+ in upgrades

These are also unique because the have the wood half moon on the woofers which was not standard and a $1500 upgrade.

Special note. The defects where a tiny bit of the veneer was missing looks WAY worse than it is. The issue is on the top of one speaker only and fraction of an inch. The photos are close ups. The slight filler blends much, much better than the photo displays. Never-the-less, you deserve to know exactly what you are buying.

We strongly suggest having these strapped to a pallet and properly packed which we can do. To be extra cautious you can have shipping crates made.

POWERHANDLING:

50 WATT AT 4 OHM OR 100 WATT MUSIC

We've run these with 45 tubes meaning barely 1 Watt and they sound gorgeous. Of course the more power the more forceful the presentation.
