The amps were purchased in November 2018. The original price was $12,000 per pair and were produced from 1995 to 2000. Purchased directly from Chris Johnson of Parts Connexion. He is the original owner of Sonic Frontiers. Chris went through them and replaced any worn/dated capacitors and power supplies in 2018. They are good to go for another two decades and Chris is still around if the buyer has any issues. Tubes are the very rare EI KT90. There is a matched quad of them on EBAY for $900. That’s $1,800 in output tubes alone. Electro Harmonix though not as good are readily available for $55. Each. The input tubes are Mullard E88CC (6922 equivalent) purchased from vintage Tube services. Current replacement is $200 each or $800 total. In total the tubes are worth $2,600! These are priced nicely great sounding amp!. Local sale only, we do not have the original boxes. They can be reboxed and shipped on a pallet only.
