Speakers are in very good condition. The cherry finish on parts of the sides are slightly blotchy (see pictures) but no scratches or dents. I understand the finish gets darker as it ages and can be uneven in the aging process. I was never bothered by this, but I thought I would mention itl. As you can see from the pictures, the fronts and tops of the speakers are pristine. Anytime I removed the grills for listening purposes (which was infrequent), I used a magnet, no pry marks. The speakers were not exposed to direct sunlight. Sound great. Speakers will ship in double boxes with certificates of authenticity. I am still looking for one of the original factory boxes and if I can’t find it, i will use double boxes and adequate packing. Nonsmoking environment.
I have edited this listing to remove the Skylan speaker stands designed specifically for the C7. I will list them separately. I have reduced the price and shipping costs to actual costs.

| How old are the speakers and do you have any close up pictures of the blemishes? I purchased the speakers from the original owner on this site at the end of 2017. He was selling them to transition to a headphone system. When I asked how old they were, I think he said 3 years. That would make them approximately 7.5 yrs old.
The blotching is not a blemish so a closeup is not going to show anything. I have read that cherry veneer will darken as it ages and it may darken unevenly depending on the grain. They really haven’t changed much since I have had them, but I haven’t exposed them to sunlight which I understand would hasten the darkening process. The pictures I included of the entire sides will show some areas darker than others. That’s what I mean by blotchy. You should be able to zoom in on those pictures. |
