This pair of Spendor Classic 200’s in Walnut are less than 8 months old and are in mint condition. They come with:

- Original boxes
- Grills
- Removable feet, for both carpet and hardwood floors

This is a sealed-box, 3-way design with dual 12-inch woofers. Bass goes deep, has excellent punch, and is very tight and controlled (unlike many bass-reflex designs). Spendor’s midrange and treble are effortless, with remarkable clarity and extension. These are incredibly natural sounding and free of any signs of harshness or listener-fatigue. They play all genres of music with impressive dynamics, proper weight and scale, and control.

Being sealed-box, they are more forgiving of room placement than ported speakers, and will work well in medium and large rooms. Bass is more controlled and punchier than a Harbeth 40.2, but equally natural midrange and top-end. You get a lot more bang-for-the-buck with the Classic 200’s, and you don’t need speaker stands!

I used them in a pet-free, smoke free environment. Unfortunately, I will be transitioning into a smaller listening room, so these speakers will need a new and loving home. They rarely, if ever, show up on the used market, and this is your opportunity to get a good deal on what is essentially a brand-new pair.
