Neotech OCC/Furutech FI-28G Power Cable, Fluoropolymer Construction

Power cable, 1 meter in length. Assembled in USA. Testing this cable was an absolute pleasure. Once I attached this to my power amp, the sound from my system became much more expansive without being bloomy and more detailed without being harsh. This would be a great addition to any analog component, especially one where higher levels of current are needed.

About the Conductors:
Live and neutral conductors: Neotech 722650 UP-OCC (Ultra Pure Ohno Continuous Cast) 12 gauge copper wire with PTFE (Teflon) insulation. OCC wire is regarded as one of the best conductors for powered applications due to its single-crystal structure. PTFE is regarded as one of the best insulators for audio wire. The combination does not disappoint.
Ground conductor: Southwire 41104 12 gauge un-plated copper stranded wire. Nothing fancy, nor does it have to be.

About the Connectors:
Both the wall plug and IEC plug are Furutech FI-28(G) connectors. These connectors use Furutech's alpha-process copper plated in gold and a vibration-absorbing nylon/fiberglass body. These connectors help the wire achieve the big, expansive sound found in testing.
About the Construction:
I put a tight twist on the live and neutral conductors, pad them in a cotton sleeve, and wrap the assembly in an FEP tube. I then wind the ground wire counter to the core twist direction and wrap the whole thing in a Techflex multifilament nylon sleeve. All internal connections are treated with DeOxIt G5N Gold contact enhancer, and all mechanical connections are torqued precisely to the manufacturer's specifications.
