Threshold S/500 Stasis Power amplifier
In excellent condition. Powerful 250W in 8 Ohms and 500W in 4 Ohms. The S/500 is one of few solid state designs that has the smoothness of triode tube amplifiers but at the same time has thunderous power and fast dynamics; The S/500 can play at loud levels without ever getting harsh or edgy. The Stasis design is very unique as output transistors are connected as a common collector output with current feedback to its driver transistors; resulting in smooth 'tube like' sound and great dynamics. The S/500 is heavily biased to operate in class A up to 20% of its power rating. It is missing one screw on top. Amp was overhauled by the previous owner in 2015.
