Musical Surroundings Phonomena II+ with outboard Linear Power Supply upgrade. Units work and sound great and are in beautiful shape (rated true 8/10 primarily for two small marks on the rear side plate of the outboard power supply; see photos). The Phonomena II+ is both super-flexible across the range of MM/MC cartridges as well as very easy to set and use.
See the Stereophile Oct. 2021 review of the Phonomena II+ and Linear Power Supply in which Herb Reichert calls this setup his “new reference phono stage.” In my humble opinion it does operate at a reference level. I’m selling to get a new (much more expensive) preamp with a built in phono stage.
I will ship in all original boxes and packing materials with owner’s manuals and also the original wall-wart power supply for the Phonomena II+. Buyer pays flat $60 shipping.
