Vintage Japanese New Old Stock MM cartridge with a beautiful "Vital Fine Line stylus". This cartridge has had a fair amount of press and praise here on Audiogon over the years. And rightly so.
The sound is quite similar to the vaunted Acutex 320 & 420 at a much lower price.
I have used one of these on and off over the years and it is a very good sounding cartridge. After I heard my first one, I thought it was such a good value I bought a few cases from overseas. I think I had about 50 of these at one time. Have 20 or so left. In fact, I still have over 300 vintage cartridges in the cartridge room. I will be working on reducing that number:)
Do a search and read the thoughts of owners for yourself. At the price, only a few other vintage Japanese carts will be in the same league IMO.
