Using Cocobolo for the first time in a large-body housing, this Grado has some of the richest sound they've ever produced.
Being the first Statement Series headphone to use Cocobolo, Grado carefully tuned their 50mm signature drivers to not only take advantage of the larger soundstage, but to also embrace the deep and impactful musical character of this unique wood. Cocobolo continues to be one of the family's favorite woods to work with.

On paper, the Grado GS3000e boasts an impressive frequency response. In contrast to this, the nominal impedance remains a low 32 ohms – perfect for use with a computer, or a phone, or a dedicated hi-fi setup. Sound pressure measures a decent 99.8 dB and you should have no problem finding adequate volume with this headphone.

| Do you have a rough estimate on how many hours these were used? About 20 hours. I then got two other pairs of headphones and use the more expensive of the two exclusively. The only reason why I’m looking to sell the Grados is that I’m not using them.
