Parasound P-5

Added pics of the packing for those interested.  Two layers of 1" styrofoam around the preamp and cell foam top and bottom double boxed. Also, I intended to dampen the preamp with sheet dampening but never got around to it.  You can see it in the bottom of the box... two sheets. There will be enough left over to also dampen another piece or two, if you wish.

This was bought for use in a satellite office in North Charleston, SC.  It's completely overkill for what I actually need so I've begun using a Wadia DAC.

The condition is better than 8/10. 9/10 states it should be a one owner piece. I'm the second owner.

No original box but the original owner put together a double box rig with 1" thick styrofoam sheet cut to form fit the preamp {doubled up}..

Absolutely quiet/black background, which contributes to a very realistic sense of space and soundstaging. I have nothing negative to say about this sub-1k preamp. You'd be hard-pressed to find something better and with as many features as this one down here; around this price point.
