I am selling a pair of 2M, 15amp, C13 AudioQuest Blizzard power cables. I will sell them together or separately. The listed price is for one cable.
Sonically and electrically the Blizzards are in perfect condition. Cosmetically I am rating them 9/10. I am the original owner, and the cables were purchased from an AudioQuest dealer in mid-2022.
In many ways, the Blizzards occupy the price-performance sweet-spot in AQ’s power cable line-up. They are made with AQ’s best copper conductors (PSC+) just like the Hurricanes, they have the same dielectric bias and noise dissipation systems found in the Storm series, they have Zero Tech to facilitate uncompressed current transfer (just like Hurricanes), and they are more flexible and easier to work with than AQ’s High Current cables (but they’re stiffer than the NRG-Z series). In addition, the Blizzards are more affordably priced, as in $895 list for a 2m Blizzard vs $1895 for a 2m Tornado and $2700 for a 2m Hurricane. In short, if you want the excellent detail of PSC+ conductors, the noise dissipation of RF/ND, the superior dynamics of Zero Tech, plus a modest price and a more flexible cable, you should put the Blizzards on your list.
On its website, AudioQuest describes the Blizzard's conductors and features as follows:
- Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors
- True-Concentric Conductors to Minimize Strand Interaction & Magnetic Confusion
- ZERO Tech (No) Characteristic Impedance for Uncompressed High-Current Transfer
- RF/ND-Tech (US Patent # 8,988,168) (noise dissipation)
- 72VDC Dielectric-Bias System (US Patent #7,126,055)
- Directional conductors
The Blizzards come with the manufacturer's box and black zippered case. They are fully broken in and ready to use.
I will ship to verified Paypal addresses in the contiguous United States. Buyer will pay a $25 shipping charge. I will pay the Paypal fee.
