The XRT2.1K’s so rarely come up for sale in the used market, that there is no previous history of a pair in our audio bluebook, and when creating this listing we had to generate the model number in Audiogon. We’ve never heard of, or ever seen an owner sell theirs...until now.
If you’re looking for a stunning musical experience that will stop visitors in their tracks on looks alone, this is your speaker. McIntosh put decades of loudspeaker design into this series. With 81 advanced drivers per speaker, the 2.1K’s produce a massive soundstage with details and presence unlike you may have ever heard before.
The 2.1K’s are capable of reproducing sound well beyond the range of human hearing. While each driver contributes to the overall experience, none of them are driven to distortion, even at high volume levels, since the load is shared over so many. The low frequency performance plays down to an earth moving 12hz!
This pair was dealer installed for a homeowner about 16 months ago and dealer removed due to downsizing. Their short time in a non-smoking, child free environment left them in absolutely flawless condition. The grills were never even unbagged and all manuals, jumpers, accys including the original (unused) cleaning cloth and cleaner are included.

SHIPPING - We ship worldwide with UPS, Fed-Ex and various truck freight lines. All items are packed and padded with care if the original packaging is deemed insufficient. DELIVERY - A commercial address or pick-up at the freight terminal are preferred since freight delivery to a residential address may incur an additional lift-gate ($50-$65) and residential fee. ($50-$75).
