Audio Note (UK) AN-E SPe HE Signature

Original owner, bought from authorized Audio Note dealer. The speaker was delivered straight from AN UK around April, 2021. This is the highly sought after ANE SPe HE Signature model in beautiful apple finish. The speakers have been babied. There is a very small scuff at the right speaker edge (see picture) which is very hard to notice without knowing it's there. Otherwise, the speakers are in almost mint condition; but conservatively rated at 9. I've the original packaging and manual. I've been biwiring the speakers but will include 10 AWG pure annealed silver jumpers if interested. The stands are not for sale.

This is by far the most musical speaker I've ever owned. Also, the most placement friendly speaker that I'm aware of. I've successfully driven the pair with 1.5W AN Paladin 45 tube amp in my 20'x14' listening room. Currently using Thomas Mayer 8W 300B mono. These speakers are versatile enough to sound really good with all types of amplifier from single ended tube, push pull, to class A solid state and probably class D as well.

Wanting to upgrade to Audio Note AlNico model, I had the opportunity to demo the SPx AlNico in my system for an extended period. To my delight I realize the SPe HE Signature is significantly more dynamic, versatile, and more musical across all music genres be that rock, pop, indie, classic rock, or acoustic, vocal. Where the SPx AlNico mostly shines on the simpler music, and not to mention the lower efficiency of 95 dB.

The reason for sale is that I'm upgrading to the highest model of Audio Note's high efficiency (98 dB) non-AlNico model: AN-E SPx HE SE Signature.
