Very rare found clean vintage reel-to-reel recorder. I bought it from a good friend of mine in 2014. Rated 8/10 only due to age. No scratches or dent. Only some hairlines noticeable when enlarge the photos except there is a tiny spot in the back lost paint. It was serviced in 2014 and it's been used as display decoration in designated listening room ever since. The unit is played with one side of tape occasionally just to keep it a good shape electrically and mechanically. All lights work and in a perfect working condition. It has been well taken care of with cleaning kit and demagnetized as shown in the photos. It is sad to let it go because of downsizing. Sales also includes the following:
1. One 10.5" and one 7" reel.
2. Eight 7" unopened Ampex tapes.
3. Recorded tape: One 10.5" Ampex and two Maxwell, Six 7" assorted tapes.
4. Memorex cleaning kit.
5. Sony head demagnetizer.
The unit will be bubble wrapped and placed in a heavy duty box with cushions to ensure safety shipping and handling. Estimated weight is 50 pounds. The buyer is to pay the shipping and PayPal fee.
