Audio Research Reference 6 - Vacuum Tube Preamplifier

When Audio Research built the Reference 1 preamp it was the very best preamplifier they could build with currently available technology. With each model, they designed a preamp that became the standard for other manufacturers.  The current model is the 6SE.  This unit is the 6, but the SE upgrade is available directly from ARC or authorized dealers.  (The 6SE currently retails for $19K)

This unit was traded-in from a client was loved his gear with great care. It includes all of the parts, paperwork and packing that it came with new.  Its without blemish and has been well cared for.  The included fresh tubes were recently replaced and they have 242 hours on them.

The original metal remote, manual, box / packing, and certificate of inspection are included.
