I am asking $2,150 for the pair (reduced from $2,350).  Or you can make me an offer.  

They are in Excellent Condition.  They are a great sounding close to full range speaker (close to 30Hz bass).  They are detailed, smooth, and powerful.  For the powerful and deep bass they have, they are not overly large speaker (43" high and 61 pounds each)

Shipping will be a little pricy as they are fairly large and heavy in their boxes (80 pounds each).  If you are near the Detroit area, we can set up a pickup instead.    

I purchased these speakers about 4 years ago to use in a 2 channel system in our new house (living room).  I planned to have a soundbar for the TV.

However, after an exhaustive search, I was unable to find a soundbar that sounded good enough and was reliable enough for my wife and I.

So, I went the more expensive route with a surround sound receiver and the multiple speakers needed for that choice.

Since the PSB speakers are older, it was difficult to find a matching center and surrounds - plus my wife didnt like the color match with our furniture

Condition/Performance

This makes the PSB Synchrony 1 speakers available for sale.  I used the speakers with a Wyred 4 Sound STI 500 V2 Integrated Amp, a Yamaha AS3000 Integrated Amp, and a Mark Levinson 585.5 Integrated amp.  They have great bass (particularly for their size) and play plenty loud enough with all of the amps I tried them with.

They are in excellent condition, with no scratches, dents, or scuffs.  The Cherry veneer has a matte finish and seems quite thick and sturdy compared to the veneer of most speakers.

They includes the magnet wire jumpers that were included when I bought them (a lot better sounding than the straps most speakers come with), as well as the port plugs and owners manuals.

I can tell you that they are close to full range speakers - to get deeper base, you would have to find much larger and heavier speakers. You will need a 4 ohm capable amp to drive them, as they do have a below 4 ohm impedance in certain bass frequencies.  I have Revel F226be speakers for my sound room.  While they have better highs and equal or better meds, the PSBs have deeper and more weighty bass, no matter what amp I have used.   

Shipping

The speakers will take me a couple of days to box up and ship out, which  could be further delayed if purchased near one of the Holidays.   

I have the original boxes and packing materials.  I will add foam and bubble wrap as needed to protect the speakers for shipment.

They are fairly large and heavy - and will cost a bit to ship. They will be insured for the purchase price and shipped using Fedex.  

I have excellent feedback (100% positive) on both Audiogon and E-Bay.
