Denon 103 with Mahogany woody body and just back from Soundsmith with a brand new Ruby Cantilever / Nude Contact Line Diamond fitted. This cartridge has not been used since coming back from Soundsmith and hasn’t been taken out of the box. Only selling as I’ve overindulged a bit and now have too many cartridges.
The cartridge was checked over by Soundsmith and the suspension etc was given a clean bill of health before the cantilever and stylus were replaced.

The wood body came from a German manufacture and is beautifully made. It cost approx. $70US including shipping and the Soundsmith rebuild cost $370US including shipping. There was a 3 month wait for the Soundsmith work as they are super busy. So a total cost of $790US including the original cartridge.I’ve previously had both a 103 and 103R with these same mods and they are stunning and a big improvement over the already wonderful 103 and 103R. There is plenty of reading on the internet regarding the woody body mod and Soundsmith work.
