McCormack DNA-1 Monoblocks

We downsized several years ago, and I no longer have room for a full stereo setup. I've had these amps in storage since 2015. They were fully functional when packed them up and they've been in boxed in my house (climate controlled) ever since.

I spoke to Patrick at SMC and he disclosed the high failure rate on these, but also indicated many people are upgrading these and continuing to use them. To check them out, he suggested removing the top cover and verifying two green lights were working and showing equal brightness, which they do (see photos). Patrick also told me these are first generation units (serial numbers 325/6) and indicated there were lower failure rates with these earlier builds.

So I am pricing these at $1,000 for the pair, plus actual shipping costs (in their original shipping boxes). SMC can convert these from monoblocks to stereo and SMC also has rebuild and upgrade options.

I believe these were $1995 each plus $500 for the monoblock conversion when new. These may need refreshing, but I believe they are priced with that in mind.

These are in their original boxes 23" X 11" X 20" and weigh 52 lbs each.
