Customer was very protective of his system but he passed away and his widow is selling them.  Stands can be included if wanted.  They sound better lifted up. He drove them with a Classe.

Drivers are mint.  There is a small round area where a vase sat that protected it from the sun so it is a little darker.

I personally think the speakers need a warm solid state or a good tube amp.

Warmer speaker wires are also helpful like  Cardas, MIT, Transparent, or Kubala, 

A bi-radial horn mounted speaker system developed based on the same design concept as 4435.

The bi-radial horn has been researched and developed by JBL Professional Devi John for several years. By adopting a unique shape in which two radial horns are crossed, the problems of conventional horns are solved.
There were four key points in the development of this horn : the directivity pattern in the horizontal and vertical directions is constant in the entire driver operating band (1 kHz to 16 kHz), the diffusion angle is the same as that of the woofer at the crossover frequency, the second harmonic distortion is reduced by improving the aperture, and the phase characteristics of the driver and the woofer are matched by shortening the horn.
