Audio Note Kits 2.1 DAC with many upgrades. This DAC beat out a 4.1 ... incredibly musical. My friend who sold it to me upgraded to a SW1X to beat it and I had to get an Audio Note UK 4.1x
Balanced to beat it. Cliche, but it sounds very analog and meaty.
I had brand new audio note copper mylar film caps installed in the signal board 2 years ago. Includes NOS Amperex 7308 PQ white label input tubes with low hours.
Other upgrades::
- Separate digital and analog power supplies with separate on/off switches
- Rubycon / Black Gate caps
- AN-V pure silver output wire
