Meze Audio 109 Pro Open Back Headphones

A 50 mm dynamic driver open back made with Meze's Dual Composite driver material.

Meze's first dynamic open-back headphone uses a 50 mm Dual Composite Diaphragm that's a beryllium-coated polymer and cellulose-carbon fiber composite. It has been designed and tuned to offer precision and to push the boundaries of speed, accuracy, and dynamic range. A copper-zinc alloy stabilizer ring contributes to significant reductions in distortion.

Powered by a neodymium magnet and encased in a CNC-machined high-precision aluminum frame, the 109 PRO offers lightness with tremendous performance. 

Meze designed the 109 PRO to be vivid and exciting. It has been carefully tuned to offer an emotionally engaging sound with great detail, clarity and just the right amount of punch. Its organic character, paired with superior dynamics, excellent imaging, and full-bodied vocals bring soul-stirring details to life.

The 109 PRO are also designed to be comfortable for extended periods, and use premium materials such as walnut, zinc, manganese steel, and vegan leather. The black walnut is sustainably harvested, and the design is fully modular, allowing for an extremely long usable life.
