Excellent condition ZU DL-103R Grade 2 with Soundsmith ruby cantilever and Nude Contact Line Diamond. I bought this brand new and then sent it to Soundsmith for the upgrades as IMO the alloy cantilever in the 103R and 103 is not their strong point. I’ve used it for approximately 60 hours with clean LPs (I use a VPI record cleaner) and clean the stylus after each LP.
Amazing cartridge which punches way above its weight and only selling as I’ve had an opportunity to upgrade to a Koetsu Rosewood.
I believe it’s the Mk 1.5 version (the Mk 1 had the raw alloy body) and the current Mk 2 has a slightly different body shape. Grade 2 which has a low 0.4% channel separation.
Current retail for the Mk 2 Grade two version is $1389US plus $350US for the Soundsmith upgrades.
