ProAc Response D Two

For your consideration is a beautiful sounding and looking pair of ProAc D Two speakers in mahogany. They are truly outstanding, a still-current model that now appears to be retailing for $5,300. The companion model with the ribbon tweeters (the D Two R), which costs more, is also acclaimed, although some people, including a staff member at one of my favorite shops, prefer the soft dome tweeter employed in this model. 

The author who wrote the glowing Stereophile review that is linked below captured it perfectly in noting that these ProAcs possess a “finely balanced combination of transparency and clarity that coexisted with musical weight and warmth—not an easy trick to pull off.”

The condition is good. There is some minor wear you can see on a couple corners, which I did not attempt to touch up, and as also pictured, one has a very small indentation of a couple millimeters on the side, which did not break the finish. The drivers are all in great condition.  Includes original packing and the grills, although the original owner lost the factory jumpers.
