What SnubWay does

You know how most modern gear—TVs, chargers, fridges, even that smart light bulb—runs on switched-mode power supplies? They’re efficient, but they dump a ton of high-frequency noise back into your mains.

That noise leaks into your audio chain—even if your setup’s ‘separate’—and messes with dynamics, clarity, texture. SnubWay acts like a noise vacuum for that mess. You plug it in near your system, and it passively clears out the crud those appliances feed into your wall.

It’s not voodoo. It’s science. And once you hear what your music sounds like without that everyday noise riding the line… you don’t go back.

Avoid getting down the rabbit hole —$2,000 power conditioners, regens, audiophile cables with ‘tuned’ dielectric geometry. Some were fine. Most just looked impressive.

What makes SnubWay different? It does not re-invent your power. It just targets the *actual* problem—noisy signal from SMPS and household junk. And it does it without drama. No switches, no LCDs, no ‘smart’ circuits trying to justify the price tag.

SnubWay’s like a silent worker. Not glamorous. Just clean, effective, and reliable. And for once, you won’t feel like you are paying extra for marketing fluff.

Product Description

SnubWay TM is an advanced parallel mains noise filter utilizing 4 discrete LRC filters tuned to absorb high frequency noise from switch mode power supplies (SMPS) and other sources in the 10kHz to 2MHz frequency range. Today’s homes have power lines that are constantly polluted with dirty pulse switching noises from SMPS that are so ubiquitous in modern homes. From our cell phone chargers to the power supplies for LED lamps and even our laptop computer supplies. They all utilize high speed switching in the 100kHz to 1 MHz range, and they often leak noise back into the house AC mains.

The SnubWay mains noise filter has multiple LRC tuned resonant snubbers to absorb this unwanted noisy energy from SMPS’s over a broad frequency range. The LRC filters utilize nano-graphite pulse absorbers to provide a broader frequency absorption band and high quality polyethylene film capacitors combined with precision wound copper coil inductors. The discrete filters are computer tuned and designed for optimal performance. The filters are arranged in parallel to absorb a broad range of sinusoidal and transient pulse noise sources. The LRC filters are arranged on separate PCB assemblies stacked and connected in parallel using solid 14 gauge copper wire busses. All of this is encased in a state of the art aluminum housing and utilizes custom made premium Viborg plug housing with solid copper prongs and hardware.

To use SnubWay, simply plug it into a power outlet located as close to your equipment that you want to have filtering achieved. For instance, a power outlet strip. Insert SnubWay into the first outlet position and your audio equipment after SnubWay. As its name implies, SnubWay provides multiple snubbers coming together in one spot - similar to a busy subway train station interchange where multiple train lines connect. The difference here is that the different “noise trains” come to the SnubWay, but they don’t leave! SnubWay is designed to reduce and absorb SMPS noise in the mains by up to 28dB (this can vary and is dependent on customer specific equipment and house wiring arrangement and condition).

SnubWay: Widening the Soundstage

"First, I'd like to thank **Mr. Ace**. He was a great help with the delivery.

The **SnubWay - Noise Defender** has enhanced the audio system. A new level of sophistication has been added to the system, which was previously a straightforward 'Main Stream' setup.

Firstly, I feel like the **soundstage is wider**.
And I feel like it has captured the **subtle vibrations and noise**.

Frankly, I had been briefly tempted by Chinese-made products due to their price advantage.
However, **vera-fi-audiollc** clearly demonstrated the **technical gap** between those products and this one.

Thank you."

Placing the SnubWay into my high end system reduce the background noise

Placing the SnubWay into my high end system reduce the background noise .It has made things a lot darker ,everything is quite and it make the music much more enjoyable. I have had a few of my audiophile friends over and we listen to my system with it in and out. Everyone of them left my house in disbelief that it made that much of a difference in. Now they are all thanking me and purchase the SnubWay for there own systems. I highly recommend trying the SnubWay. Happy listening 🎶.

Some serious sorcery on my electrons?

I took a flyer on this during one of the occasional price reductions by Mark. Given the glowing reviews, Vera-Fi's generous return policy, and the reasonable cost, I decided, "why not, can't lose?"
So, I received the SnubWay, popped it in the the second outlet of the duplex that feeds my power conditioner / transformer and promptly and completely forgot about it. I didn't listen closely much that week, my system was mostly providing background music during several jam-packed days.
7-8 days in, I sat down and played some Pat Metheny, Beach Boys, Coltrane, and a bit of Yes. Sitting in the sweet spot, but working on the computer while doing so, I suddenly looked up and declared, "Wow - great clarity!" I don't think I've heard my system sound quite like that before.
Delighted, I started working less and listening more. A few records later, all sounding fresh and unveiled, I remembered the SnubWay. Coincidence? Who's to say? My system sounds so great these days, I haven't yet chanced removing the SW to test my impressions. I'm afraid of breaking the magic :).
When I finally do, I'll report back. But for now, this silly thing seems to be providing some serious good sorcery on my electrons...

Snubway improves sound stage and details in the music

Snubway improves sound stage and details and placement of the instruments on the sound stage. Using the combination of the Snubway and the Mainstream even further expanded the width and depth of the sound stage. Micro details become more evident.
Using both of these in the home theater provided better color saturation along with better overall sound!
In my 2 channel system the sound the sound became more holographic. A definite win-win for me. The more of these you add the more you'll gain.

It works!

This is my first Vera-Fi product. My system, except amp, runs through a 25# noise reduction Topaz transformer. The SnubWay still made a sonic improvement. There is a band of hash and grit in the lower highs that is greatly reduced. The system sounds so much more pleasant and relaxing.

This works so well, I purchased a 2nd SnubWay for the amp and a Main Stream for the complete system. Amazing improvement. The system now sounds the same day or night. I can listen for hours without fatigue. Highly recommended.

Replacing Puron Filters

My Main Stream and SnubWay filters arrived a week ago today. I plugged both into the back of my power conditioner replacing one of your older Puron filters. (I was so impressed with the performance of your older filter that I decided to gamble on upgrading to this pair of filters.) They have been in my system now for about 140 hours. Listening at my normal level to my favorite tracks, the music was noticeable louder. As I listened, I realized that the overall volume had not increased but the dynamic contrasts within the music were greatly improved. I assume this was due to a further reduction of the noise floor. The other thing I noticed was that very subtle details in the background, bells, brushes on cymbals, wood blocks, while clearly resolved in the past, were part of a “sonic fabric.” That fabric was now gone and each of these delicate sounds now existed in three-dimensional space with a sense of air around them and their own dynamic range. For a guy like me, who loves hearing these inner details, my listening engagement went off the charts. Long story short, this pair of filters made my system more transparent, more engaging and brought me closer to the experience of listening to live music. If anyone out there is fence-sitting, debating on getting these, ORDER THEM! I have spent thousands on cable upgrades and not heard as big an improvement as these filters provide.

I cannot believe what I am hearing!

WOW! 💥 I added the Main Stream unit first. After a good amount of break-in time, I started hearing the backgrounds in the music sound quieter. Instruments are a bit more focused in their own space. A subtle but noticeable improvement overall. Now I decided to try out the SnubWay. 48 hours in, no real change in things. Fast forward to about 500 hours of being in my stereo system (with the MainStream still in place) and I cannot believe what I am hearing! I have a much bigger soundstage right-to-left and the same for depth front-to-back. There's a greater separation of instruments & voices and yet there's more layering and detail in between. Anyone who cares about their music and optimizing the way your stereo sounds needs to contact Mark L. Schifter at Vera-Fi Audio. Of course, YMMV in your system. Tell Mark that I sent you!
