Focal's design of the Kanta combines some of their best driver and cabinet design technologies with a contemporaty new look. The Kanta No 3 is the flagship speaker in the line. Using new Flax membrane midrange and woofers, you get lightweight and fast performance for detailed music. Coupled with their award-winning Beryllium tweeter, clarity is unmatched. The Kanta also uses drivers that do not have the usual magnetic field that dynamic drivers have. The magnet design simply eliminates it for stable and ultra linear movement. The 3-way speaker design also minimises Doppler distortion. So many developments went into this loudspeaker, its no wonder its received so many awards.
How do they sound? If you are looking to be imersed in absolutely detailed and goose-bump inducing music, these are the speakers you're looking for. Their extremely low distortion lends to a full and lifelike soundstage.
This is a one owner pair. Kept in excellent condition. No smoke or kids in this listenting room.
The special edition Gauloises blue face is a nod to the French but it may not be for everyone. If you prefer a different finish to acompany the beautiful Walnut veneer, we'd be happy to change it for you for a small fee.
